Pueblo School District 60 launched its new mobile app that’s available on both Apple and Android devices.
The app allows students, parents, and faculty to access information about the entire district by providing one location for them to see everything from its website and social media accounts.
“We wanted to create a new brand,” said Dalton Sprouse, director of communications for D60. “We successfully launched a new logo and earlier this year we launched our new website. In conjunction with these we created the new mobile app.
“We know that our families, students and even our teachers utilize their phone more than any other tool to access information.”
The district calendar, lunch menus, bus routes and access to students’ grades and attendance are some of the features included in the app. It also allows users to customize what types of information they want to see and have access to.
“Parents can select which schools they want to follow. If they have a student at one school and a student at another, they can choose to receive information specific to those two schools, not every school in our district,” Sprouse said.
